The emPOWER Breakfast Drop In Session - Dementia Support

emPOWER will soon be launching a new drop-in series focused on the often-overlooked realities of caring for loved ones with dementia.

These mixed events will offer group support and practical resources, shaped by the lived experiences of Sally Miller and her family.

Sally’s father will be our first guest in module one, and will be sharing his first-hand perspective and advice as a full-time caregiver, alongside Sally. In other modules we will gain professional insights from Hina Tanna of Silver Levine, covering essential legal and financial topics such as benefits, power of attorney, and inheritance tax planning. The series will also include curated healing sessions, designed to support your nervous system and emotional wellbeing.

We’ll also create space to hear stories from others navigating dementia-related loss - including parental loss at a young age from early onset - and offer a network of support for those who may feel isolated…
