Aly Moffat Joins The emPOWER Pathway

We are delighted to welcome Aly Moffat to The emPOWER Pathway as one of our Challenge Buddies.

Aly brings over 30 years of experience in advertising production, with a career spanning some of the industry’s most respected companies. Having begun at Weilands in the early 1990s, she joined 2AM in 2002, where she rose through the ranks from Producer to Executive Producer and finally Co-Managing Director until its closure in 2023.

In Autumn 2024 Aly took the bold step to launch her own freelance consultancy, working with creative businesses on growth, strategy and change, using her extensive experience as an MD and EP to support and advise companies across advertising production, while deepening her involvement with charities and organisations dedicated to creating more inclusive and accessible routes into the industry.

Aly has faced a number of personal challenges in recent years including a diagnosis and subsequent treatment for breast cancer in 2013 and more recently navigating mental health and neurodiversity in her teenage children and caring for a parent with dementia.

Aly’s career has been defined by empathy, integrity and a commitment to lifting others up. Having navigated both personal and professional change, she brings a deep understanding of resilience and reinvention to her mentoring. She offers thoughtful guidance to those in transition, helping others recognise that change can be the beginning of a powerful new chapter.

Through The emPOWER Pathway, Aly continues her lifelong advocacy for underrepresented talent and inclusive leadership, combining her strategic experience with genuine compassion.
