Welcoming Barny Wright to The emPOWER Pathway

We are delighted to announce that Barny Wright, CEO and founding partner of No.8 London, has joined The emPOWER Pathway as one of our Challenge Buddies.

Barny is no stranger to the emPOWER community. As the inaugural guest speaker at our very first emPOWERMENt Breakfast back in April, he set the tone for the honest and courageous conversations that define our movement. His story resonated deeply, and we are thrilled that he is now stepping forward as a mentor.

A respected industry leader, Barny has helped shape No.8 into one of London’s most prolific audio and post houses. Yet it is his personal journey that makes his contribution to The emPOWER Pathway so powerful. Drawing from his own transformative six-year journey of sobriety, Barny is passionate about breaking stigmas around addiction and supporting others exploring their relationship with alcohol and drugs.

Through empathy, humour, and lived experience, Barny shows that personal growth and professional success can not only coexist but actively reinforce one another. Through his mentoring, Barny shows how vulnerability can be a strength and that choosing a different path can open up space for resilience, clarity, and creativity.
